Assemblyman Tri Ta, who represents California’s 70th Assembly District, recently shared updates on legislative actions and community initiatives through his social media posts.

On August 25, 2025, Tri Ta announced legal action against the state legislature. He stated, “Today, I once again joined my colleagues in filing a lawsuit asking the California Supreme Court to uphold our Constitution and protect our democracy. In a rushed process, Sacramento politicians in the Legislature bypassed the constitutional safeguards meant to defend our”.

Two days later, on August 26, 2025, Ta recognized an Assembly Fellow for his contributions. He wrote, “This year, I was honored to have Cameron Larson-Barrera serve the people of #AD70 as an Assembly Fellow. A Sacramento State alumnus, Cameron has brought dedication, professionalism, and a deep commitment to public service throughout his time in the Capitol. I’m grateful for his”.

On August 28, 2025, Ta highlighted a partnership with Kaiser Orange County for an upcoming health event. According to his post: “My office is honored to partner with Kaiser Orange County to present a Health and Wellness Expo on October 1. The event will feature a variety of resources to support community health, and Orange County Clerk-Recorder Hugh Nguyen’s team will be available on site to provide”.

Tri Ta has been active in both legislative matters and community engagement as part of his role representing constituents in southern California.
