This week is a reminder to take simple steps to keep your home and loved ones safe. A few quick tips: Test your smoke alarms monthly and replace batteries yearly. Create and practice a home escape plan so everyone knows two ways”.
The following day, on October 9, 2025, Ta addressed financial tools available to Californians with disabilities. He stated, “CalABLE accounts help Californians with disabilities save money without losing vital benefits like SSI or Medi-Cal. These accounts allow individuals to save up to $18,000 per year, or more if employed, and the funds grow tax-free. Savings can be used for important expenses such”. CalABLE is a state program that enables eligible individuals with disabilities to save money in tax-advantaged accounts without jeopardizing their access to certain public benefits.
On October 10, 2025, Ta expressed gratitude to a local agency for its educational outreach. He posted, “A heartfelt thank you to the Orange County Water District for hosting high school students from across #AD70 as part of our first Youth in Government cohort. Your team gave students an inspiring behind-the-scenes look at how water management and public service work hand in hand”. The Orange County Water District is known for its efforts in water management and community engagement.
