On January 11, 2026, Ta marked Human Trafficking Awareness Day by highlighting the ongoing issue in Orange County. The following day, January 12, he reflected on his long-standing involvement with Duc Dang Taekwondo Academy. In his post he wrote, “It has been my honor to serve as a judge for the annual black belt examinations at Duc Dang Taekwondo Academy for more than a decade.
