On February 12, 2026, Tri Ta marked Abraham Lincoln’s birthday by stating, “Today we celebrate Abraham Lincoln, born February 12, 1809, a president who led our country through the Civil War and preserved the Union. His steady leadership during one of America’s darkest moments and his belief in a government of the people, for the people, and by the people”.

The following day, on February 13, 2026, he reported on a visit to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory: “My colleagues and I toured Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory today to learn more about the cutting edge scientific research underway to address our nation’s most pressing national security challenges. We appreciated the opportunity to see firsthand how innovation, advanced”.

Later that same day, Tri Ta discussed his engagement with veteran services in California: “I recently had the opportunity to address the members of the California Association of County Veteran Service Officers to share my priorities and explore how we can strengthen our partnership in serving veterans across the Golden State.”
