Assemblyman Tri Ta, who represents California’s 70th Assembly District, recently posted a series of messages on his Twitter account addressing Mother’s Day, National Police Week, and local community recognition.

On May 10, 2026, Tri Ta extended greetings for Mother’s Day to his constituents and beyond. He wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers across #AD70 and beyond.

The following day, May 11, 2026, Ta marked National Police Week by acknowledging law enforcement officers. On May 12, 2026, Ta congratulated Khang Bao—a Westminster High School teacher and co-founder of Thiên Ân Performing Arts—on being named the 2026 AAPI Leader of the Year for California’s 70th Assembly District during Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Tri Ta serves as an elected representative in Orange County, California. The district encompasses parts of Westminster and neighboring cities with significant Vietnamese American populations.
