On Friday, May 16, former Ocean View High School standout Jimmy Legg’s current collegiate team the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens lost 7-8 against the McMurry War Hawks in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Ben Hines Field at 10 a.m. and was the first matchup against the McMurry War Hawks in the tournament.

The Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 8:30 a.m. at Alumni Field.
