On Tuesday, April 8, former Pacifica High School standout Malia Cuevas’ current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Missouri Southern State Lions.

The game took place at Pat Lipira Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at Bearcat Softball Field against Emporia State Hornets.
