On Sunday, March 23, former Ocean View High School standout Ashley Capelouto’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, March 23, former Ocean View High School standout Ashley Capelouto’s current college team, the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, won 12-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Tech Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 1 p.m. at Tech Softball Field against Morehead State Eagles.
