City of Garden Grove issued the following announcement.
Please note that the Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District (OCMVCD) will conduct residential adult mosquito control tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13 through Thursday, October 15, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., in the area from Lincoln Avenue to Chapman Avenue and from Brookhurst Street to Haster Street.

The Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District (OCMVCD) is reporting additional areas with high number West Nile virus (WNV) positive mosquitoes in Garden Grove. The areas are east of Springdale to Knott Street and south of Chapman Avenue to the 22 Freeway.
Based on surveillance results, the OCMVCD has initiated residential adult mosquito control in the affected area on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, October 6 through October 8, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
OCMVCD will distribute flyers to all households and commercial buildings starting Wednesday, September 30.
