Census Bureau: More women than men in Orange County in 2021

Of the 3,182,923 people living in Orange County, California in 2021, 50.4% (1,604,231) were women and 49.6% (1,578,692) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by West OC Times.

Data showed the average age for women in Orange County in 2021 was 40 years, on par with the national average of 40 for women.

According to census data, despite women being more prevalent in Orange County during 2021, men aged 18 and over outnumbered women in the same age group by 6,331. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 211,672 men and 260,743 women.
