Assemblyman Tri Ta, who represents California’s 70th Assembly District, recently used his Twitter account to inform constituents about voting options for the upcoming June 2 Primary and a proposed specialty license plate benefiting children’s hospitals.
On May 4, 2026, Ta posted: “Three ways to return your ballot for the June 2 Primary:
-By mail
-At an official drop box (opens May 5)
-In person at a vote center or elections office

The following day, he highlighted a new initiative involving specialty license plates: “California is exploring a new specialty license plate inspired by Disneyland, with proceeds supporting children’s hospitals across the Golden State. If at least 7,500 interest form submissions are received, the plate will move forward into production.

Assemblyman Tri Ta serves in California’s State Assembly and frequently communicates updates on civic participation and public initiatives via social media. The proposed Disneyland-inspired license plate is part of an ongoing effort in California to support health care services for children through specialty plates when sufficient public interest is demonstrated.
